One of the Bay Area’s leading Hip Hop dance choreographers/instructors, Darnell Carroll brings over 17 years of Hip Hop dance training, performance competition, and showcase production experience to the table.  Darnell specializes in teaching youth the art of Hip Hop dance and culture.  He is the director of a variety of both adult and youth Hip Hop programs, including but not limited to the Sunset Academy of Dance, the Stapleton School of Performing Arts, and various programs throughout the San Francisco and South San Francisco Unified School Districts.
Darnell is the director of FBC (Funk Beyond Control), as well as City Shock San Francisco and Mini Shock, two of the Bay Area’s most successful and exciting youth Hip-Hop dance troupes.  FBC dancer’s ages range 7 to 20+; they are known throughout the West Coast for their innovative style and the expertise of even their youngest dancers.  Their unique style and dedication to the Bay Area’s distinct Hip-Hop scene makes them one of the most sought after youth troupes around.
After producing two highly successful workshop/dance showcases for all levels of dance and ages, Darnell is quickly becoming one of the most well known figures in the Bay Area Hip-Hop community.
