Darnell specializes in teaching youth the art of Hip Hop dance and culture. He is the director of a variety of both adult and youth Hip Hop programs, including but not limited to the Sunset Academy of Dance and
various programs throughout the San Francisco and South San Francisco Unified School Districts.
Darnell is the director of FBC (Funk Beyond Control), as well the former director of City Shock
San Francisco and Mini Shock, two of the Bay Area’s most successful and exciting youth
Hip-Hop dance troupes. FBC Dancer’s ages range from 7 to 20+ They are known throughout the West Coast for their innovative style. Their unique style and dedication to the Bay Area’s distinct Hip-Hop scene makes them one of the most sought after youth troupes around.
After producing several highly successful workshop/dance showcases for all levels of dance and ages, Darnell has become one of
